Pat and I met through IM on AOL.  He was just randomly searching profiles online, and happened to come across me...There was even an added bonus...I was ONLINE!!  Pat im'd me and we started talking.

We learned that we had gone to the same high school and were only a grade apart.  I knew a few of his friends but yet, I did not know him.  He remembers passing me in the hallways...I remember thinking that he was the type of kid that would wear a trench coat and keep an AK-47 stashed inside the coat.  But, after a week or so of conversations, I had learned that he wasn't at all the way I thought he was.  Pat seemed a bit hesitant when I told him I had a son, who was 2 years old at the time.  But I don't think me having my son would scare him away.  I thought that maybe my psycho kitten would...but she didn't.  Haha!

Pat and I then met in person on April 16th, 2003, when I invited him to my apartment.  He came and called from the pay phone at the pizza place across the street and asked which door was mine.  I told him where he had to go, and he finally found his way.  He seemed a bit shy, but I knew I was going to break him of his shyness.

My satelite had been shut off because the company didn't receive/process my payment in time, so all we could do was talk and cuddle.  Well, I was a little nervous that maybe Pat didn't like cuddling.  Low and behold, he likes to cuddle.  He held on to me pretty tight that night, and even "rubbed my arm."

From that night on, we were inseperable!  We spent alot of time with each other for the first 2 weeks.  We couldn't get enough of each other.  It boggled my mind then as much as it boggles my mind now, how you can miss someone so much when you see them every day.  I really don't understand that logic...but sooner or later I will figure it out!

I hope you enjoy visiting our site.  You'll learn about Pat, Jon and I.  Even though Pat and I aren't married, I still consider Pat part of my little family.
